I am 24 years old. As a child i had really bad weight problems that at the age of 5 i had cellulite. When I grew up i changed my lifestyle and got fit and became a personal trainer. my thighs looked better but still struggled with cellulite. Becuase of the hard economic times, i took a desk job and gained a few pounds. Im am still my same clothing size but i notice the pounds. But that really isent my big problem, becuase i know i can get rid of that on my own, but I sitll have my large cellulite problem. I have always been a curvy latina even when i was at my best shape. I love my latina curves but i cant stand my cellulite that has carried along with my since my childhood. what are good cellulite treatments that will make a HUGE difference. I'm not a big believer in these expensive lotions and potions that claim to get rid of cellulite, so I'm hoping someone knows of a more natural way of getting rid of cellulite? I dont have much - a bit on my upper thighs and bum, but I'm very self-conscious about it! I do high resistance training, weights, squats, lunges, ab crunches etc every other day and eat a healthy diet (strictly no junk!) so I have the health and fitness side covered - just wondered if anyone knew of a secret trick to banish stubborn cellulite for good! I have never had a body wrap done but I've heard good things from those that have tried them. What is the best treatment I should use to combat cellulite?
I'm 25 years old, 170 cm tall, and weight 50 kg, but my cellulite is getting worse and worse every year. About 3 years ago my body was toned and beautiful, and I never thought I would have cellulite. Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.
The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.
The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.

I think the answer is no! If they really did, then most women wouldn't still have cellulite! (those who can afford salons)...we still see celebrity ';snaps'; of cellulite so it's obvious that even those with millions of dollars still can't find the miracle cure.
It appears that these treatments do improve the appearance of cellulite, they can firm the skin a little and improve the texture but once it's there I think there's no sure way to get rid of it 100%. Unfortunately! If you have spare money, then these probably help a tiny bit, but they are usually pretty expensive and the results are quite minimal. It's such a pity, but there doesn't seem to be a cure....they say it's hormonal (which is why men don't get it) as it's apparently linked to oestrogen which is why it kicks in at puberty for girls (just when you need another strange thing!!)....so, I guess some of us are just stuck with it! :-( Anyway, at least be reassured that like 99% of women have it so don't worry...it's just a fact of life and don't be embarassed about it, check out most women and you'll see it! (PS - if you find a miracle cure, please post it up on Yahoo!) ;-)

Anyone have any information on a new treatment for cellulite called Biogenie?
My best friend has an appointment Thursday for some new treatment called Biogenie that is supposed to remove or significantly decrease cellulite. She found the advertisement in a local monthly wedding magazine. The cost is $150.00 per treatment and number of treatments depends on severity of cellulite. I'm very skeptical of these sort of procedures because if sounds too good to be true.... it probably is!!! When I search for any information on the internet it is minimal.... no reviews... hardly anything. Maybe I have the name wrong. There was a great segment on the Today show this morning. They tested a bunch of those cellulite ';treatments.'; Starting at the cheapest and working their way up to the most expensive. Not ONE of them did anything. Complete waste of money. They had doctors consulting with the patients using the treatments. Used them for over a month--all of them. Nothing.
Even when people had cosmetic surgery to suck the fat out of the area---the cellulite was STILL there. Once you get it.....you GOT it.

Anyone ever have Synergie Cellulite treatments done? How many sessions did you have and how were the results?

Really there is no way to get rid of cellulite. And the bad thing it tends to look more prevalent on us thinner girls.
There are ways however to 'disguise' it or make it less noticeable.
I've heard sand or exfoliation works as does caffeine and sea algae and stuff....most expensive creams that may not even work contain those. BUTt ; ) If you make you own exfoliate using either salt or sugar mixed with (alittle)coffee to make it a 'scrub like' consistency. Pay special attention to problem areas and massage for about a minute or so then riinse in shower.
Following shower use a self tanner and apply to butt and thigh (or problem areas) let dry.
Once dry use the self tannner again, but this time in ADDITION to the butt %26amp; problem areas go all over your body. The darker areas of your problem areas will blend and therefore hide any imperfections. Ever notice tan bodies tend to look more toned?

What is cellulite and is there a treatment for that skin disorder?
Cellulite is simply the ';cottage cheese'; appearance that occurs primarily on the thighs and buttocks but occasionally elsewhere. Women generally have a worse problem with cellulite than men. Cellulite is essentially just fat, and the dimpled appearance is due to the way the fat collects beneath the skin. It is very hard to get rid of.
However, I did notice that after I lost weight by watching what I ate and exercizing daily, and I slimmed down to a tiny size 3, most of my cellulite disappeared. I have gained ten pounds since then and some of it is back. I would like to think that the various anti-cellulite ';skin firming'; creams the sell in drugstores would work, but I don't think they really do. As for the high-priced cellulite treatments they perform in spas, the improvement is termporary, minimal, and very expensive.

If you go into a salon that does eletro therapy and ask for galvanic this is a treatment which uses a low electrical current a bit like how magnets work to push an anticellulte product deep into ur skin skin breaking down the toxins that cause cellulite, you will require a course of one or two traetments a week for about 4-8 weeks, its not the most comfortable traeatment in the world it feels itchy tickley or prickly but depends on the client, im a beauty student and do this treament in college i hav seen it work and believe in it im not sure how much it'll cost in a proper salon proberly around 拢40 a session mayb less but most salons offer discounts on courses it is also advisible to hav a galvanic treatment once a month for mantanance after the course to keep desired result.

your doing the right stuff and your o the right track if you are eating properly. the only thing I did differently was to work out in the gym and use some cellulite cream. some creams do make a difference. your doing the right stuff and your o the right track if you are eating properly. the only thing I did differently was to work out in the gym and use some cellulite cream. some creams do make a difference. I used to have pretty bad cellulite which only got worse after I get pregnant. I had it mostly around my inner thighs and bottom and a bit on my tummy as well. I tried eating more healthy food and did a lot of exercise as well which friends and family members recommended but my skin was still lumpy and floppy.
